A flash of shimmering aldehydes, bright and powdery. Bergamot adds a citrus edge. Coriander and artemisia give it a slightly bitter, green lift before the florals arrive. It sparkles. Then it softens.

    The Story

    Why it exists.

Elizabeth Taylor launched her first fragrance in 1987, becoming one of the first Hollywood figures to build a serious perfume empire. Passion arrived in 1988 as the second pillar of that vision, a fragrance designed to carry her name into the deeper registers of seduction. While White Diamonds would become the cornerstone, Passion established the template: bold naming, theatrical presence, and an insistence on working with the perfumer to achieve something that felt like her own voice, not just a celebrity label. The name said everything. This wasn't a fragrance for quiet entrances.

The aldehydes hit bright, then gardenia and ylang-ylang warm up the middle, and the drydown settles into sandalwood, incense, and something animalic. What did it do on your skin?
