The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
UERMI's Solaro Collection arrived in 2022 as four summer compositions, each one presented as a liquid summer poem. 3 Dove L'Acqua È Più Blu sits within that lineup as a numbered entry of citrus, florals, and cooling aquatic notes. Pierre-Constantin Guéros composed all four Solaro fragrances, with each piece of the quartet carrying its own personality and palette. The 3 Dove L'Acqua È Più Blu bottle photographs in tones of soft teal and chalky white, giving the juice an immediate visual temperature before the cap even comes off. Inside, the brief reads cool and aqueous, with zest on top, a floral-driven marine heart, and a base built on algae, patchouli, and musks.
Sea daffodil (also called sea lily or pancratium maritimum) is an unusual heart note, a white flower that grows in sand dunes along the Mediterranean coast and carries a slightly saline, indolic sweetness. Pairing it with synthetic marine notes and lily of the valley gives the heart a luminous, almost metallic floral character that reads more sea-spray than garden. The base pulls in algae alongside musk and patchouli, grounding the aquatic brightness with something faintly vegetal and mineral, like tide pools and kelp drying on hot rock.
The evolution
3 Dove L'Acqua È Più Blu opens as a bright squeeze of Lemon, Bergamot, and Mandarin Orange, the kind of zest that stings the fingertips and lifts a room on first spray. Within minutes the brightness settles into a cool marine heart where Sea Daffodil and Lily of the Valley drift above quiet Aquatic Notes, the florals reading closer to wet petals than to a bouquet. As the citrus recedes, an ozonic transparency takes over, almost like the memory of cool air against the skin on a warm afternoon. By the third hour the composition has dried down to a low murmur of Musk and Patchouli, with Algae threading through the base and lending the final stage a faintly saline, mineral undertone. The skin-close drydown keeps its freshness for far longer than most aquatic fragrances manage.
Cultural impact
3 Dove L'Acqua È Più Blu reads first through its color story: a frosted-blue bottle that promises freshness long before the sprayer is pressed. Inside, the juice opens with a bright citrus flutter, then drops into a cool, almost tidal floral heart of sea daffodil and lily of the valley. It is the kind of scent that conjures coastline without naming one, asking the wearer to finish the picture themselves. The Solaro Collection surrounds it with sunnier companions, and this is clearly the cool-water piece among them, a counterweight to the warmer amber and tropical numbers in the set.
