Mahsam Raza built Lady Facet Crystalline in 2026 for The Dua Brand's Inspired Expression line, drawing on Bvlgari's Omnia Crystalline as its reference point. That composition is known for a clean, crystalline floral character, and Raza's version keeps the clarity while introducing green mandarin and nashi pear to reshape the opening. Those two notes give the first impression a fruitier, brighter snap than the original reference, steering the fragrance into something that feels current rather than purely imitative. Green mandarin brings a tart, zested quality that lifts the pear rather than burying it, and the pear in turn contributes a watery coolness that tempers the mandarin's sharper citrus edges.
What makes this composition work is how much air it lets pass through. Nashi pear is a quiet fruit, more about watery freshness than sweetness, and it pairs with green mandarin to create an opening that reads citrus but behaves aquatic. The jasmine absolute brings depth to the heart, giving it a creamy weight rather than the usual airy lift you might expect from standard floral handling.
