The evolution

The opening moves fast. Grapefruit and lavender present themselves immediately, sharp and almost mentholated, the way cold air feels when you first step outside. Within fifteen minutes, geranium softens the edges, pulling the lavender into something greener and more rounded. The transition into the base is gradual but noticeable: tonka bean arrives first as a whisper, then the incense and amberwood settle underneath. Juniper berries persist longer than expected, lending a dry, cool spiciness that keeps the drydown from becoming too sweet.
