The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Aurélien Guichard created this flanker within the For Her lineage, taking the original's musk-forward architecture and layering it with agarwood. Released as a limited edition, this 125ml bottle embodies deliberate restraint. Guichard extended the For Her concept rather than reworking it. The result is a fragrance that deepens the conversation between musk and wood, offering a darker interpretation of the house's signature style while remaining true to its core identity.
Rose and peach are the opening gesture, the same soft Fruition you find in the original EDP, here presented cleanly before the composition shifts. The oud doesn't announce itself at the top. It accumulates. Sandalwood and patchouli provide the architecture, but the musk-amber pairing is what makes this hang together: that characteristic For Her warmth, now threaded with something resinous and resin-reserved. What makes it interesting is the restraint. Oud can dominate. Here, it complicates. That's the difference between a flanker and an addition.
The evolution
The first minutes belong to rose, bright, almost soapy in that specific NR way, and peach skin sweetness. Within thirty minutes, the musk and amber emerge, softening the fruit into something skin-adjacent. The oud arrives gradually, a warm resinous weight that doesn't compete with the rose but sits beneath it, like a statement made quieter by where it's placed. As the fragrance develops, sandalwood and patchouli arrive, grounding everything in a dry woody warmth that stays close to the body. On fabric especially, you're left with a clean, warm musk-sandalwood that's intimate and lasting. The progression feels natural and unhurried, each layer settling into the next without abrupt transitions.
Cultural impact
This limited edition occupies an interesting position in the For Her lineup. It's been discontinued since its run, which has made it a sought-after piece among fragrance collectors. The addition of oud positioned it as a distinctive scent within the collection, offering a different character from the mainline offerings while maintaining the house's signature style.
