The perfumer sought to translate the painter's bold colors and whimsical forms into scent, choosing a vivid orange-bergamot opening that feels like a splash of warm yellow across the composition. The citrus accord mirrors the painter's approach to color as energy, not decoration.
The choice of rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang for the heart reflects an intention to create a floral accord with both elegance and sensuality. Rose provides classical refinement. Jasmine adds an almost nocturnal warmth. Ylang-Ylang bridges them with its tropical sweetness. The drydown pairs patchouli with vanilla, grounding the florals with earthy depth while keeping the overall impression soft and intimate.
