Anne Flipo designed Sandalwood & Spiced Apricot as a limited-edition 2025 release, a Jo Malone cologne with a simple proposition: warmth that doesn't need to announce itself. The spiced apricot opening has a festive quality without veering into decoration, while the sandalwood heart gives it somewhere to go. The apricot arrives ripe and pulpy, its sweetness balanced by aromatic cardamom and nutmeg, creating a top note that feels both uplifting and grounded. As the scent settles, the sandalwood emerges to weave the composition together, offering a creamy, enveloping warmth that lingers pleasantly without overwhelming the senses.
What makes this work is the sandalwood. It thickens as it settles, becoming creamy and round, giving the fragrance a substantial presence that develops gracefully over time.
