Classic is a men’s eau de toilette from Jaguar, created by perfumer Dominique Preyssas and released in 2002 through Takasago. Its character comes through most clearly in the way each stage of the fragrance develops. The opening is fresh and aromatic, with juniper berries, mandarin, orange, star anise, basil, bergamot, and lavender creating a lively introduction. There is brightness from the citrus, a cool herbal edge from lavender and basil, and a subtle spicy warmth from star anise.
