Bois de Lune was released in 2019 as part of Galimard's Gamme Bois de Lune collection, emerging from the historic perfume capital of France. The house built this composition around accessible, immediately legible materials, selecting lavender and orchard fruits to establish a clean aromatic-fruity character from the first spray. Rather than reaching for complexity or surprise, Galimard designed a fragrance that communicates clearly and confidently.
The note selection reflects a philosophy of balance rather than boldness. Lavender anchors the opening with herbaceous clarity, orchard fruits provide sweetness without heaviness, and the woody heart adds necessary structure.
