Noble Eclat arrived in 2024 from ESSNCE. The brief was straightforward: warm, seductive, and undeniably present. The sweet-spicy architecture borrows from the amber-gourmand tradition while keeping the composition accessible, wearable across seasons and settings. It opens with a lift of bergamot sharpened by cool cardamom, while cinnamon and orange blossom soften the transition from citrus into spice. The sweetness doesn't announce itself so much as build quietly underneath, supported by a base that leans into praline, tonka, and caramelized almond. There's a density to the base that gives the fragrance its lasting character, a richness that holds close to the skin rather than disappearing within the first hour.
What makes the structure interesting is the balance between brightness and depth. The cardamom and bergamot up top provide lift that prevents the sweetness from cloying, while orange blossom adds a floral softness that bridges citrus and spice. The heart relies on bourbon vanilla and elemi resin, a pairing that brings creamy warmth against a slightly peppery, incense-like edge.
