The evolution

The first 20 minutes belong to the top. Pink pepper delivers a dry, slightly metallic sparkle. Mandarin rounds it out with sweetness that feels squeezed rather than candied. Together they read bright and clean, almost sparkling, the kind of opening that makes you lean in at the wrist. By the 30-minute mark, the transition begins. The citrus thins, and lavender arrives with its cool, herbal clarity, joined by sage's greener, slightly camphoraceous edge.
