Sandalo Imperiale arrived in 2018 as part of Angelo Caroli's expanding Italian portfolio. The name itself is a declaration: Imperial Sandal, the sandalwood forward, the sandalwood that doesn't hide behind fruit or smoke. Angelo Caroli built the brand around a distinctly Italian sensibility, where fragrance carries cultural weight and connects to everyday ritual. Sandalo Imperiale sits in that context as a grounding composition. Woody-spicy in architecture, but sweet enough at its base to feel lived-in rather than austere. The composition opens with a confident burst of black pepper and lime, the citrus brightness cutting through the spice with a sharp, almost green clarity.
