Rather than the straightforward citrus of the house's traditional colognes, Monet introduced Green Apple and Ylang-Ylang to soften the tartness and add depth. It's a remix in the truest sense, taking a familiar melody and giving it a different key.
The tension here is between brightness and warmth. Lime and Lemon open sharp and immediate, that classic cologne punch, but Orange rounds them into something rounder.
