The beginning
Ever 11 is the 2026 release from Vyrao. The name reads almost like a coordinate, a fixed point, a moment you arrive at rather than something you chase. It marks the kind of clarity that arrives after the noise settles, when you stop asking permission and simply stand in what you know. Every fragrance in the line is built to carry weight, to feel like something you put on with intention rather than something you reach for out of habit, and Ever 11 was composed to sit at the heaviest end of that spectrum. The composition was developed with Meabh McCurtin, whose work is rooted in materials that announce themselves, the kind of ingredients you smell across a room before you parse them.
What makes the composition interesting is the tension between two heavy hitters that shouldn't work together but absolutely do: velvety black cherry and dark, smoky Indonesian patchouli. Cherry is the kind of note that can slide into candy territory fast, but here it's anchored by leather and peru balsam before it ever gets there. Bourbon vanilla CO2 brings a rounder, more resinous sweetness, almost chewy in its density, while El Salvadorian peru balsam adds a warm, syrupy depth that bridges the florals and the base.
The evolution
The opening hits you before the sprayer leaves your wrist. Black cherry, dusted with pink pepper CO2, arrives almost immediately as a thick, dark fruit. Not the bright, tart kind. This is cherry that's been steeped in something, macerated into leather and smoke. The first 15 minutes feel close, almost edible, with the pepper adding a dry shimmer that keeps the sweetness from settling into sugar. By the 30-minute mark, the peony and rose push through, but they're quieter than you expect. They don't bloom so much as exhale, a pale floral breath threading between the cherry and the heavier base underneath. The leather surfaces next, dry and worn, like the inside of a jacket pocket that's carried something important for years. This is where Ever 11 stops being a fruit note and starts being a statement. Around the two-hour mark, the Indonesian patchouli grounds everything with its smoky, earth-rooted warmth, while Bourbon vanilla CO2 and tonka bean absolute wrap a soft, sweet blanket around the edges.
