Why it exists.
The beginning
Mahsam Raza, the nose behind The Dua Brand, released Fizzy Strawberries in 2024 as part of the house's Inspired Expression line. The fragrance pairs the sweetness of strawberry with the bright sparkle of champagne. It's a composition built on contrast: juicy tartness against effervescent fizz, the green coolness of aloe against the warmth of dark berry. Rather than wrapping the fruit in vanilla or pastry, the scent lets the strawberry lead, staying in sparkling territory throughout. The result is a scent that captures a single moment rather than telling a long story.
Wild strawberry is the anchor note, and its tartness gives the fragrance its sun-warmed character, with a faintly green quality that adds freshness to the opening. Champagne accord brings the lift. The champagne reads as bright and almost carbonated, a bubbly shimmer that sits lightly on the skin. Pairing it with chamomile introduces a herbal calm that softens the fruit's sharpness, lending the composition a gentle, tea-like quality. Blackcurrant deepens the berry dimension with its own darker edge, pulling the sweetness into richer territory.
