The Dua Brand built its reputation on reconstructing the architecture of well-known compositions, and this release was no exception, drawing its blueprint from Dior's Fève Délicieuse. The intention reads clear in the name itself: a confection built for sensory pleasure, not complexity. Sweet gourmand fragrance can drift toward novelty or nostalgia, and Beauteous Delight stakes its claim on the latter. On first spray, the opening leans into that promise with a soft, almost edible sweetness, the kind of vanilla warmth that feels toasted rather than raw.
What makes this composition interesting is the temperature contrast baked into its architecture. Mint and French lavender open cool and herbal, almost like a palate cleanser, before the warm weight of caramel, praline, and Venezuelan tonka bean takes over. That thermal shift gives the gourmand heart somewhere to go.
