Why it exists.
The beginning
7notas arrived in 2026 as a collaboration between Solonoi and Argentine content creator Octavio Fachi, known online as 325 Perfumes. The fragrance takes its name from a simple numeric premise, a counted handful of notes that do the work of a much larger composition. Perfumer Alejandro Mazzola built the structure around cardamom, dried citrus, aromatic herbs, bourbon geranium absolute, a Negroni accord, Cambodian pepper, and patchouli, each ingredient pulling weight rather than serving as ornament. The Negroni reference in the heart is direct, listed among the core notes alongside the geranium and the pepper, giving the composition its bitter, herbal, citrus-edged character.
The unusual ingredient here is Cambodian pepper, a choice that immediately sets 7notas apart from standard fougère constructions. It pairs with bourbon geranium absolute and an actual Negroni accord, not just bitter orange and herbs, but the cocktail's fuller aromatic profile pulled directly into the heart. The combination creates a boozy, floral-aromatic tension that gives the fragrance its center of gravity. Patchouli anchors the base, doing the structural work without ever stepping forward to take a bow.
The evolution
The opening hits fast and confident. Cardamom and dried citrus crack open within the first minute, bright but slightly bitter, like twisting an orange peel over a glass.
