The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Lady Million Fabulous arrived in 2021 as an evolution of the Lady Million DNA, the same fruity-white floral trail, turned up higher, warmer, more radiant. Perfumer Anne Flipo took what made the original disarming and leaned into its most seductive qualities. This wasn't a restraint experiment. It was a celebration of excess within the architecture that Rabanne has always built.
The choice of solar notes alongside tuberose is the tell. Where the original Lady Million pulled you in, Fabulous holds you there, wrapping the jasmine and ylang-ylang in a golden warmth that makes the florals feel less delicate, more deliberate. The addition of moss in the base grounds the sweetness, keeping it from floating away entirely. It's warmth with structure. Sweetness with backbone.
The evolution
The opening hits bright, mandarin and pink pepper, a quick spark of citrus-spice. Within minutes, the florals take over. Tuberose dominates, creamy and present, with jasmine and ylang-ylang filling in the gaps. That lasts for the first two hours, solid and assured. Then the handoff: tonka bean and vanilla arrive together, softening everything into a warm, powdery glow. The cashmere wood adds softness without weight. The moss is subtle, just enough to keep the base from becoming pure dessert. Six to eight hours later, on skin, it settles into something close and intimate. Not projecting anymore. Just there, warm, still sweet, still present.
Cultural impact
Lady Million Fabulous carves its own space within the floral vanilla category, warmer and more opulent than lighter alternatives, with a solar quality that reads as both modern and indulgent. It's the kind of fragrance that works best when applied with intention, layering gracefully without overwhelming the senses.
