Coconut CO2 carries the structural weight of the entire composition. It's what allows the citrus to register as bright without ever tipping sharp, and it's what gives the base its creamy backbone once the florals recede. Paired with Tahitian vanilla and sandalwood at the foundation, the coconut keeps the tropical character alive past the opening, turning what could have read as a simple citrus-floral into something with real depth on the skin.

The evolution

The fragrance opens with citron and yuzu arriving almost in tandem, red mandarin trailing just behind them. There's an immediate coolness to the citrus, but it reads bright rather than sharp, lifted by something underneath that keeps the edges soft. The coconut CO2 is already present in the opening, giving the citrus a faintly creamy undertone that prevents the top notes from feeling pinched or aggressive. As the initial brightness settles, the tropical florals begin to surface, layering over that milky base. The jasmine and magnolia bring a soft, rounded quality, while ylang-ylang contributes a warm, almost sunlit sweetness that sits comfortably against the coconut rather than competing with it. The heart becomes the dominant phase, and the composition feels generous here, full-bodied, and quietly indulgent. From there, the florals gradually recede, and the base moves into focus.
