Mustang doesn't often venture into this territory. The marketing frames it as sweet-fruity, and the juice absolutely delivers on that promise.
The structure is deliberately classical. Bergamot and violet leaf up top, mimosa threading powder through the citrus before the heart opens into a white floral trio of jasmine sambac, magnolia, and rose. None of these notes are surprising on their own. What gives Velvet its character is the mimosa, a material with a slightly hay-like, almost almond sweetness that adds an unexpected softness to the bright fruit opening. Pairing it with cashmere wood and iris in the base keeps the whole composition suspended in a gentle, hazy register rather than letting the florals turn sharp or overripe.
