The beginning

Khadlaj Perfumes built its reputation on a recognizable house style, and Date Night slots into that catalog with a clear point of view. The fragrance leans into bergamot and blackcurrant as its opening move, then carries that fruit through into a heart built on orange blossom, iris, and tuberose. The base settles on cedarwood, amber, and vanilla, warm and creamy rather than sharp or green. What you get on skin is a powdery trail that reads floral at first reach and confectionary as it dries down. Cedarwood keeps the whole thing grounded, giving the sweetness a faint woody spine so it never floats off into something sugary or abstract. Vanilla in the drydown isn't loud or candied.
The interesting tension sits in the middle of the pyramid. Iris and tuberose don't naturally share a stage. Iris wants to be cool, mineral, distant. Tuberose wants warmth, almost narcotic sweetness. The composition places them together, and the orange blossom above softens both. The result reads less floral and more gourmand-adjacent, creamy rather than green.
