The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Jimmy Choo Man Parfum arrived in 2026 as the Parfum concentration in the Man line. The composition opens with bergamot, black pepper, and apple for a bright, crisp effect. The bergamot provides an initial citrusy lift while the apple adds a subtle fruity sweetness that keeps the opening approachable. Black pepper introduces a gentle spice that builds gradually, preventing the citrus from feeling too light. The heart layers artemisia, lavender, and orange blossom, aromatic herbs with a slightly bitter edge, softened by a delicate floral sweetness. The floral heart develops as the citrus fades, with artemisia and lavender working together to create an aromatic core that feels both herbal and refined. The base anchors everything in amber, benzoin, and patchouli.
The artemisia-lavender pairing forms a structural core within the fragrance. Artemisia brings a slightly bitter, green quality that cuts through the blend, while lavender smooths and softens the edges. Together they create an aromatic heart that feels both clean and complex. The orange blossom sits underneath, providing a quiet floral sweetness that prevents the herbs from becoming medicinal. The herbs take center stage in the heart, with the floral element threading through subtly rather than asserting itself.
The evolution
The opening is bright and crisp, with apple and bergamot creating that immediate effect. The black pepper arrives, adding a clean heat that builds without burning. The heart is where this fragrance earns its character. Lavender and artemisia create an aromatic tension, artemisia's slight bitterness against lavender's soft, herbal warmth. The orange blossom sits underneath, keeping the floral element present but never dominant. Around the two-hour mark, the drydown arrives. Amber and benzoin warm the composition. The patchouli emerges, earthy and grounding, as the scent settles close to the skin. The sillage drops from noticeable to intimate. What remains is warm, resinous, and present, patchouli and benzoin holding the stage for the rest of the day.
Cultural impact
The advertising campaign features Brazilian model Marlon Teixeira. Man Parfum positions itself as the confident choice, the wearer who arrives knowing the room belongs to them. That positioning shapes everything: the warm benzoin drydown, the aromatic heart, the moderate sillage that announces without demanding. The visual language maintains the brand's established aesthetic, with the campaign imagery reinforcing the fragrance's positioning as a statement of assured self-assurance.
