The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Strawberry Fizz arrived in 2024 as part of Jeanne Arthes' Skil: Sky Is The Limit line. The release opens with wild strawberry and mint, notes that immediately set a sparkling, almost fizzy tone before settling into its heart of orange blossom and violet, where a powdery softness rounds out the fruit. The base brings raspberry and peach into a warmer, jammy territory, with vanilla threading through to keep everything cohesive. It's a composition that reads bright and bubbly up top, then drifts toward something softer and more sugared as it wears. The whole thing stays in a candy-sweet register without tipping into cloying territory.
Wild strawberry and mint lead the opening, and the combination reads like something poured over ice rather than scooped from a bowl. The mint brings a cold, green edge that keeps the strawberry from going syrupy right out of the gate, and there's a candy sweetness threaded through that gives the opening its bubbly character. The violet and orange blossom heart introduces a powdery softness, the kind of floral hush that keeps the fruit from feeling one-dimensional.
The evolution
The opening is where this fragrance makes its case. Wild strawberry and mint hit together, and it smells like biting into a chilled berry on a hot day. There's a candy sweetness there too, but the mint keeps things lifted and almost effervescent, giving the whole top a sparkling, effervescent quality. As the composition settles, the orange blossom and violet arrive, and the scent shifts from fizzy to softly floral. The strawberry stays present, but it grows rounder, less sharp, wrapped in violet's powdery hush. Later on, the base starts to take over. Peach and raspberry bring a jammy warmth, and vanilla smooths the edges into something creamier and more grounded. What remains on skin in the later hours is a quieter story: warm vanilla, a trace of fruit, the faintest green memory of where it all started.
Cultural impact
Strawberry Fizz is a playful, easy-to-wear fragrance built around a core of wild strawberry, mint, and vanilla. The combination of fruity and creamy notes gives it a soft, approachable sweetness that works across seasons, though it leans naturally into warmer weather when the sparkling mint top really shines. It's the kind of scent you reach for without thinking too hard, the fruity-candy profile making it feel instantly familiar while the violet and orange blossom keep things from feeling too juvenile. The base of peach, raspberry, and vanilla gives it enough warmth to wear into evening, though the overall character stays light and casual.
