Juicy Mellow is part of Janua's Egg Collection, a 2025 release built around the image of an opulent yet tender pink rose. The concept is straightforward and confident: take the soft, petal-pretty side of rose and push it through a fruit-forward lens. Raspberry and blackcurrant do the pushing. Bergamot opens the door. The result is a floral that knows exactly what kind of sweetness it wants to be, and commits without hedging. Where many rose fragrances drift toward green stems or powdery iris, this one goes jammy. The raspberry brings a bright, slightly tart fruitiness, the blackcurrant adds a deeper, darker berry undertone, and bergamot weaves a light citrus thread through both. Together they create a sparkling opening that feels generous and unapologetic.
What makes the composition interesting is how it balances red fruit against white floral. Raspberry and blackcurrant bring tartness and a syrupy depth, but jasmine and rose in the heart don't get smothered.
