Me, Myself & You landed in 2015, a fragrance from Helene Fischer developed in collaboration with perfumer Mathieu Nardin of Robertet. The name reads like a declaration of self-possession, the olfactory equivalent of a pop hook that knows exactly what it's saying. Where floral-powder sensibilities might have been expected, this one shifts toward fruit and warmth, projecting a brighter, more immediate energy. There's something deliberate about the shift toward juicy top notes and golden base textures, a second offering that feels less cautious and more aware of who's standing across the room. The blackcurrant-citrus opening cuts sharp before softening, and the praline-amber drydown rounds everything out into something warm and inviting.
The composition draws on a familiar floral-fruity framework, but the ingredient choices give it personality.
