Sensualité Mythique joined the Hei Poa lineup in 2017, part of a small house whose catalog leans into tropical florals and the kind of warm, sunlit scent memories that come with island living. Mythique sits within that conversation as something you wear rather than something practical you reach for in the bathroom. The composition takes the creaminess of tiare steeping into fragrance and gives it an iris backbone, a perfumery flourish that pulls the scent toward something softer and more dressed. The name itself leans into that duality: mythical sensuality, not a postcard version of anything, but something half-remembered and half-imagined.
What makes this composition distinctive is how it handles the floral heart, a layering of tiare, iris, vanilla, jasmine, and orange blossom that carries a quiet complexity. The heart holds tiare flower, the bloom that smells like gardenia crossed with coconut milk, sitting alongside iris, vanilla, jasmine, and orange blossom in a layered arrangement where each note has room to speak. The evolution
