The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Golden Tuberose arrived in 2025 from FELISA, composed by Tamara Mannina. The name points directly to the flower at the center: tuberose absolute, a powerful material known for its creamy white petals, hypnotic presence and unmistakable sensuality. FELISA frames the composition through intense passion and absolute luxury, built around radiant white flowers rather than a single decorative blossom. That brief suits a fragrance meant to feel polished yet emotionally charged, a romance translated into scent with the founder's bridal bouquet referenced as inspiration. The result is a composition that carries the memory of white petals in full bloom, generous and opulent without ever feeling like a single stem placed in a vase.
What makes Golden Tuberose compelling is the tension inside its polished white-flower frame. Pink pepper brings brightness at the opening, while bergamot keeps the first impression crisp rather than overly sweet. Magnolia and jasmine absolute add layered petals, but tuberose remains the center of gravity, creamy, dense and impossible to ignore. Bourbon vetiver, tonka bean and vanilla then give the flowers weight and a soft trail, making the composition feel intimate without becoming merely pretty.
The evolution
The opening begins with a clean burst of bergamot and pink pepper, bright and lightly rosy against the promise of white petals. Peony joins the fresh floral lift before the heart develops: jasmine absolute gives the bouquet lift and creaminess, magnolia broadens its soft texture, and tuberose takes over with a dense, hypnotic floral presence. As the bright beginning recedes, the composition grows more enveloping. Tonka bean and vanilla make the drydown warmer and sweeter, while bourbon vetiver introduces a darker, earthy edge beneath the flowers. The result is less like a neat bouquet than a floral memory that refuses to leave, especially on warm skin and fabric. The scent lingers with quiet confidence, shifting from a luminous white-flower opening into a warmer, more resinous close that reveals new facets with every hour it rests against the skin.
Cultural impact
Golden Tuberose represents FELISA's approach to white-flower perfumery, with a focus on intense florals as the core of the composition. Its placement within the brand's portfolio is defined by material choices, sitting alongside explorations of rose, iris, neroli, tobacco, sandalwood and vanilla. This breadth shows a house interested in the full range of what perfumery can express, with Golden Tuberose standing as a confident statement in the floral category.
The House
FELISAFELISA is a Brazilian niche fragrance house founded by Fernanda Elisa Orcioli. The house presents its fragrances as authorial compositions for women and men, with a catalogue spanning rose, neroli, iris, tuberose, tobacco, sandalwood and vanilla. Its first releases appeared in 2023, followed by a vivid expansion that included Velvet Tobacco and Radiant Neroli in 2024, then Golden Tuberose in 2025. FELISA also draws attention beyond Brazil through international fragrance events. Its 2024 presentation at Pitti Fragranze in Florence marked the house's appearance at one of the industry's central trade fairs and provided a clear platform for Velvet Tobacco.
