Camara Perfumes launched Peach Blast in 2024, a year after establishing themselves as one of the Gulf's most consistent fragrance houses. The brand's tagline is "Crafting Life's Moments," and every release tries to capture a specific atmosphere rather than a static aroma. Peach Blast is named exactly for what it promises: the concentrated essence of ripe stone fruit, captured at its peak. The question the perfumer asked was simple, what does a peach smell like at its most alive?
The answer lies in the boozy-gourmand structure. Peach alone is fleeting, sweet, and slightly green. Camara solved that by pairing it with cognac and rum in the heart, spirits that have depth, warmth, and time built in. The davana adds a honeyed, slightly aniseed edge that prevents the sweetness from feeling flat. Vanilla and benzoin in the base give the drydown something to land on, so the warmth doesn't disappear, it just settles closer to the skin. That's the craft here: immediate brightness followed by something that lingers.
The evolution
The opening hits bright. Peach, raspberry, and blood orange arrive together, juicy and insistent, with cardamom adding a subtle warmth underneath. This phase lasts maybe thirty minutes before the fruit begins to recede and the heart takes over. Cognac and rum arrive quietly, giving the sweetness a boozy backbone it didn't have before. Davana adds a honeyed complexity that feels richer than the name suggests. The jasmine keeps everything grounded, it doesn't compete with the warmth, it frames it. By hour two, the drydown is fully established. Vanilla, benzoin, and cashmeran create a warm, enveloping close that stays close to the skin. Patchouli and vetiver prevent it from becoming a pure sugar cloud. On fabric, the vanilla persists well into the next morning.
