Here it's paired with woody notes from the top, which means the citrus never floats away on its own. It has somewhere to land. The heart of amber, jasmine, and musk creates a warm middle chapter, and the base of patchouli and palisander rosewood gives it somewhere permanent to live. The evolution

The opening hits bright. Grapefruit, tart and awake, arrives first, that clean citrus punch that reads as morning or late afternoon depending on your mood. The citrus remains present as the composition develops, softening gradually while the woody notes begin to emerge alongside it. The grapefruit becomes less sharp, starts to blend into the evolving structure. The heart unfolds next: amber arrives with its resinous warmth, jasmine drifts in with that white floral sweetness, and musk settles underneath like a second skin. The fragrance continues to develop through its middle phase, maintaining that warm character. Then the drydown takes over. Patchouli and rosewood ground everything, earthy, slightly dry, the kind of base that lingers on skin and collar long after you've stopped paying attention.
