Absinto Poison arrived in 2022 from Água de Cheiro, and the name alone is a provocation worth pausing on. Absinthe, that infamous green spirit long associated with Bohemian transgression, paired with poison, the thing you can't stop thinking about even when you know better. Together they frame a composition built on contradiction from the very first glance at the bottle. Raspberry and patchouli do the talking, and the vegetal notes give the whole thing a green, slightly wild backbone that pushes against what you'd expect from a fruit-led scent. The raspberry arrives with a candied brightness, but it never sits alone for long; patchouli threads through underneath, earthy and a little raw, dragging the sweetness somewhere darker and more complicated.
