Night Harvest came from a simple question: what does home smell like? Not a place, a feeling. The Van Dang creative team spent time exploring that tension between ritual and comfort, between the things you do without thinking and the moments that make a space yours. Night Harvest is the result of that inquiry. Named for the quiet work that happens after dark, the gathering, the settling, the exhale, this fragrance translates the atmosphere of a familiar room into something wearable. It needed to feel like a sweatshirt you've owned for years, the one that fits right every time.
Clary sage absolute carries an herbal, slightly nutty quality that distinguishes it from the sharper culinary sage. Combined with nutmeg's warm spice and Provençal lavender's softer, more floral character, the top accord sets a tone that is calming without being sleepy. Sweet grass brings an interesting dimension, it reads as green but also as slightly resinous, almost honeyed. Paired with tobacco, it creates a middle that smells like worn fabric left in the sun.
