In 2015, Valentino introduced Donna as the feminine counterpart to the already-established Valentino Uomo. The fragrance was conceived as part of the Born in Roma collection, a line rooted in the spirit of the Italian capital. Donna brings together floral richness and warm depth, creating a composition that feels both refined and grounded. The collection draws inspiration from Rome's layered identity, and Donna translates that into a scent that balances elegance with an unexpected edge.
Three materials define Donna's character. Bulgarian damask rose carries a honeyed depth. Italian iris pallida brings its powdery, slightly violet character to the composition. And Indonesian patchouli grounds the florals with an earthy complexity that transforms as the fragrance wears. The evolution
