More vanilla, more rum, more of everything that made the original a compliment magnet. The composition stays inside the Born In Roma universe, taking the DNA of the first Donna and pushing every sweet, warm element closer to the edge without abandoning the floral and ambery architecture the line is known for. Valentino positions this as floral and ambery on paper, but the reality is simpler.
What makes Extradose interesting isn't any single note. It's the ratio. Bourbon vanilla sits as the sole base, which means the drydown has no woody or musky anchor pulling the sweetness into something cooler or drier. The vanilla gets to speak uninterrupted, and the result is a composition that reads warmer and denser than its actual note count suggests.
