The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
The O-Zone line began in 2000 with O-Zone Woman and O-Zone Man, followed by two limited editions in 2011: O-Zone Pink Wave and O-Zone Green Wave. Green Wave captures the sharp scent of spring grass, trees, and only awakened nature. Not the garden in full bloom, just the first exhale of green returning after winter.
What makes Green Wave work is its structural honesty. The green reads differently here, grounded by vetiver and backed by cedarwood. Red apple and mandarin arrive midstream, adding a secondary dimension to the composition. The result is a fragrance built on authentic green notes rather than synthetic approximations.
The evolution
The opening hits immediately, bergamot, lemon, and grass arriving together in a single bright sweep. The citrus reads clearly while the grass accord provides authentic green character. Red apple appears quietly alongside mandarin orange that adds citrus brightness. The vetiver keeps everything grounded, preventing the composition from floating upward into something precious. As the fragrance develops, the heart maintains its clean, structured greenery. The base arrives gradually: cedarwood and green notes settling close to the skin. The drydown smells like cedar and green, already integrated into the wearer's chemistry.
Cultural impact
Green Wave was one of two 2011 limited editions in the O-Zone line, arriving as a companion to O-Zone Pink Wave. The fragrance offers a distinct green character that sets it apart within the collection.
