In the heart, ice functions as both theme and structure, while ginger and sage prevent the cold from becoming flat or one-dimensional. The drydown uses ambermax as a strategic retreat, softening edges without abandoning the core concept. Peony and cedarwood provide the finishing contrast, warmth and wood against lingering cold.
