Almost Naked arrived in 2025 as part of Pleuvoir's White Collection, a line of fragrances built around quiet, intimate moments. The name says the quiet part out loud: this is a composition designed to sit against bare skin rather than project outward. The fragrance captures a specific kind of intimacy, the scent of fabric against warmth, of someone who just stepped out of the shower and didn't bother reaching for anything louder. The opening registers warm and close, more like body temperature than a fresh spritz, and the drydown settles into something brushed and soft, the kind of scent you catch when someone leans past you rather than across a room.
The note structure reflects that thesis. The opening leans warm rather than fresh, with cardamom, pink pepper, and saffron creating a skin-temperature glow instead of a citrus sparkle. Maté absolute in the heart brings a dry, almost tea-like calm that anchors the jasmine and rose without making them ornamental. The base is where the composition makes its real argument: suede and cashmere wood for that brushed, second-skin quality, cistus absolute for quiet warmth, and oud used sparingly, more as a shadow than a statement.

Suede takes over the foreground, dry and brushed, with cashmere wood adding a weightless warmth beneath.
