Ambrette

Ambrette is unusual in modern perfumery. The seed carries a natural, nutty sweetness that reads as both musky and almond-adjacent, creating a unique softness. Paired with olibanum's aromatic resin, the combination produces something unexpected: powdery warmth. The evolution

The opening doesn't announce itself. One moment there's nothing, then there's a gentle creaminess, almond sweetness without the nuttiness, just the impression of warmth. Bergamot adds a brief lift before disappearing entirely. Within twenty minutes, the frankincense arrives not as smoke but as a low, resinous hum beneath the powdery surface. The ambrette evolves as it binds with skin chemistry, growing softer and more intimate over time.
