Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin composed it as a masculine woody-spicy built around four notes: cardamom, violet leaf, cedarwood, and sandalwood. The name, French for "blue river," points to a color you only find in cold mountain water, a clarity that reads almost luminous against deeper tones. The composition runs on movement and clarity passing through something dense and rooted, a fragrance that doesn't announce itself so much as it settles into place.
