The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Can't Get Enough arrived in 2025 as Nayaat's answer to a moment that refuses to fade. Drawing on the brand's Dubai-inspired ethos, where sleek skyscrapers meet desert spice routes, the perfumer set out to bottle a fleeting spark of desire. The brief called for a unisex scent that feels both modern and deeply satisfying, one that opens with confident energy and settles into something worth returning to. The opening deploys blackcurrant and citrus fruits to grab attention immediately, while the heart introduces cardamom and geranium to complicate the narrative. The base anchors everything in warmth and intimacy.
The note selection reflects a deliberate balance between brightness and warmth, playfulness and sophistication. Blackcurrant brings a bold, fruity edge that stands out in any crowd. Cardamom adds an unexpected spiced complexity that elevates the heart beyond typical floral arrangements. The gourmand accord, supported by sandalwood and vanilla, creates a drydown that feels indulgent without being heavy. This is a fragrance built for a moment that starts electric and ends Intimate, reflecting the Dubai ethos of constant motion tempered by deep, lasting satisfaction.
The evolution
The arc moves from arresting brightness to warm complexity to Intimate comfort. In the opening minutes, blackcurrant dominates with its tart, jammy character, making an immediate statement of desire. As lemon and bergamot lift the sweetness, and pear adds a subtle softness, the fragrance feels balanced and inviting. When cardamom arrives in the heart, the warmth becomes more intentional, more personal. Geranium adds a green, slightly bitter counterpoint that prevents the sweetness from overwhelming. By the time the gourmand accord and vanilla emerge, the scent has shifted from bold declaration to quiet possession. Sandalwood and cedarwood in the drydown ensure the fragrance stays close to the skin, a lingering reminder of something you do not want to let go of.
Cultural impact
Part of the Eau d'Élan collection, Can't Get Enough quickly became a reference point for modern Middle Eastern perfumery, showing how traditional spice notes can coexist with bright Western citrus. Collectors praise its balanced genderless appeal, and its gourmand‑woody drydown has sparked conversations about the evolving taste of the region’s niche market, positioning Nayaat as a bridge between heritage and contemporary luxury.
