The beginning
Alive Now landed in 2023 from Maison Alhambra, marketed by Lattafa Perfumes Industries LLC. Raspberry, lychee, and violet leaf lead the opening, giving the composition a bright, fruit-forward entrance with a cool green accent cutting through the sweetness. A floral heart of rose, peony, and jasmine follows, layered together rather than stacked as a single bloom, which gives the mid-phase a fuller presence. Vanilla and musk anchor the base, rounding out the drydown with warmth and softness. The structure is deliberate: a familiar fruity-floral-gourmand skeleton executed with enough density to hold attention through the wear.
What sets the structure apart is the top-to-base weight ratio. Most fruity florals lose their bite within the first hour, letting the vanilla settle in quietly. Here, the raspberry and lychee maintain a noticeable presence in the early stages, and the violet leaf contributes a cool, slightly bitter greenery to keep the opening from collapsing into syrup. The evolution
