Fleuride

Hawaiian sandalwood in the base brings a particular softness to the composition. It carries less of the dry, almost austere edge that sharper sandalwood varieties can impose, which lets the florals in the heart remain the focus rather than being pinned down by something too woody. That decision keeps the texture of the whole composition feeling rounded and continuous. The lychee and osmanthus pairing is where this fragrance earns its keep.

The evolution

The opening belongs to the green mandarin and lychee. Bright, almost sparkling, with the orange blossom threading through it like sunlight caught in gauze. Then something shifts. The geranium rises first, green and slightly sharp, cutting into the sweetness before the tuberose arrives in full. That's the moment the composition shows its spine. The indolic warmth of tuberose doesn't announce itself politely. It settles into the space, dense and creamy, carrying osmanthus with it. The honeyed stone-fruit quality deepens, and the lychee that seemed so playful in the opening now reads as something richer, darker, almost wine-like at the edges. The white musk and vanilla eventually come forward, softening the edges of the tuberose without burying it. The Hawaiian sandalwood reveals itself last, warm and close, lending the late stages of the wear a creamy, almost suede-like finish.
