The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Khadlaj Perfumes founded its identity in Sharjah in 1997, building a reputation for blending Arabic oud, rose, and musk traditions with Western gourmand creativity. Nuha Bon Bon arrived in 2026 as the newest expression within the Nuha collection, a line built around the theme of playful indulgence. The house conceived this fragrance to bottle the simple pleasure of a fresh fruit-filled milkshake, translating that comfort and joy into a wearable scent.
The note selection reflects the philosophy of pairing bright fruit with soft cream, then grounding the composition with warm vanilla sweetness. Strawberry and peach provide immediate freshness, milk smooths the transition, and orange blossom bridges the fruity top to the gourmand base. Vanilla completes the arc, offering warmth that makes the fragrance feel familiar and comforting rather than avant-garde. This structure allows the scent to move from playful to elegant while remaining cohesive throughout its wear.
The evolution
The fragrance begins with strawberry, milk, and peach, a combination that conjures the first taste of something sweet and fruity. As the scent develops, orange blossom introduces a subtle floral elegance while the ice cream note deepens the richness, creating a heart that is both creamy and refined. Finally, vanilla anchors the composition, returning the sweetness in a warm, lingering drydown that rounds the entire arc from bright opening to comforting base. Each phase builds on the last, creating a journey that feels like enjoying a favourite treat through the day.
Cultural impact
Wearers often compare Nuha Bon Bon to Juliette Has a Gun’s Miami Shake, noting a jamier, sweeter twist that feels more intense on the opening. The fragrance has sparked chatter on social platforms for its dessert‑like charm, becoming a go‑to for those who enjoy gourmand scents that double as a sweet accessory.
