The evolution

The first thirty minutes are pure confection. Candied apple and clementine crack open bright, with marshmallow settling underneath like spun sugar on warm skin. It's sweet, almost aggressively so, the kind of opening that makes you check your wrist. Then the shift happens. Egyptian orange blossom and freesia arrive together, pulling the composition into something cooler, more floral, more grown. The vanilla orchid adds a creamy bridge between the sugary top and the darker base waiting underneath. By the two-hour mark, the sugar has mostly receded. What remains is powder and earth, iris settling in with a violet-tinged softness while oud and patchouli take over the bottom of the composition. The drydown is where this fragrance earns its name.
