Moody Dream arrived in 2026 as part of Ghost's DREAM fragrance wardrobe, a collection the brand describes as designed to move with your mood. The name sets the contract: this isn't the airy daydream of the brand's earlier Summer Dream release, it's something with weight. The composition leans into deep, layered contrasts that give the scent its gravity. Dark chocolate and oud open with a dense, almost edible warmth, while brown sugar weaves through resinous incense to create a soft, smoky sweetness. A dried rose shares space with leather, lending a slightly dried-petal quality that keeps the sweetness from tipping into dessert territory. As the fragrance settles on skin, the chocolate softens and the oud rises, giving way to the incense and leather base that linger for hours.
What makes Moody Dream structurally interesting is the dessert-to-incense arc. Most chocolate fragrances stay sweet, either melting into vanilla or dissolving into patchouli. The evolution
