No. 08 Été éternel arrived in 2017 from Frau Tonis Parfum, a Berlin-based niche house known for its numbered collection of small-batch compositions. The name translates to eternal summer, and the composition makes good on that promise: a dense, sun-warmed floral built to outlast one season and stretch into the next. Among the lighter entries in their lineup, this one stands apart for sheer generosity, a fragrance that refuses to hold back when restraint might feel safer. The brand calls it their most opulent floral, and the note structure confirms why: orange blossom, tuberose, ylang-ylang, rose, and bergamot, all in generous proportions, anchored by a sandalwood and vanilla base that refuses to dissipate.
What makes the composition unusual is its refusal to dilute. The orange blossom and ylang-ylang arrive at full volume, and the bergamot reads less as a brightener than as a brief cool entry point before the floral avalanche takes hold.
