A house, in its own words
Fratelli Diamanti’s name combines the Italian words for brothers and diamonds, a detail that has become central to the house’s identity. Its founders, Ceyhan and Erhan Elmas, are repeatedly identified in industry coverage as the creative pair behind the brand. One account describes them as established perfume artists and frames Fratelli Diamanti as an Italian-founded house with ambitions in the Middle East. Other sources place the brand within Turkish niche perfumery and connect its identity to Istanbul, where Ceyhan Elmas is active on social media. The founding date is not consistent across available material. A company profile records Fratelli Diamanti Gmbh as founded in 2023, while other retail and industry references describe the fragrance house as operating earlier. A 2021 date appears alongside numerous individual releases in the fragrance database, including Al Cielo, Royal Oud, Reborn Rose, Sha'mamia, Ten Miles, Shades of Grey, Florence, Al Mare and Montecristo. That pattern suggests the brand or its major collection was visible by 2021, but it does not establish a definitive founding year. Fratelli Diamanti later expanded its corporate footprint through the reported formation of Fratelli Diamanti Gmbh. The brand has also drawn attention for the Diamond Collection, described in trade coverage as a set of 15 perfumes. Rather than presenting a single linear history, the house’s story is one of Italian naming, Turkish connections and a fragrance catalogue built around strong materials and evocative place names. Fratelli Diamanti’s creative approach is often described through the meeting of East and West, a phrase used in coverage of Montecristo and the Diamond Collection. The idea fits the brand’s catalogue, where Italian names and references sit beside oud, rose and spice-led fragrances. Its perfumes are not limited to one narrow floral or gourmand register. Al Cielo suggests sky, Al Mare evokes the sea and Al Vento brings wind into the frame, while Royal Oud makes the material itself the point of departure. The names are simple sensory cues rather than elaborate storytelling devices. This gives the collection an accessible rhythm, allowing each fragrance to act as a distinct atmosphere while belonging to a recognisable house. Public descriptions also associate the brand with extrait de parfum, a format that places emphasis on concentration and close wear on the skin. Fratelli Diamanti presents fragrance as a personal form of identity and emotion, but its most convincing expression of that idea comes through the variety of its releases. The house’s philosophy appears to value contrast, combining cultured Italian presentation with ingredients and accords familiar from Middle Eastern perfumery. The result is a brand image built around fragrance as both personal signature and cultural meeting point.
