Why it exists.

Yambuki arrived in 2024 as part of Ensar Oud's Private Blend series. The production run reflects deliberate scarcity: a single bottle was produced. This is a finished composition, not an attar or raw oil, and the Private Blend designation signals exactly that distinction. What makes the release notable is the collision of materials it brings together, from black tea and blackberry in the opening to the depth of Tibetan and Tonkin musk anchoring the base. Indonesian oud provides resinous gravity throughout, and Mysore sandalwood offers a creamy counterweight that softens the sharper edges. Japanese rose and jasmine enter the composition, adding a delicate floral thread that weaves between the darker elements without ever dominating.
What separates Yambuki from typical oud compositions is the collision of black tea and blackberry with Tibetan and Tonkin musk.
