Why it exists.
The beginning
Kary arrived in 2024 from Coyotl. This one lands squarely in the gourmand register, built around a fragrance name rooted in cultural memory. The catalog reads as a sequence of names referencing deities, beverages, and everyday rituals, and Kary joins that conversation by pulling from the sweet, spiced end of the spectrum, a composition that reads almost edible at first contact. Aneberg Prz Lui is credited as the perfumer on this release, the sole nose across the project, maintaining the house's coherent vision: one perfumer, one sustained vocabulary, one set of references running through the entire catalog.
What makes Kary interesting is the collision happening inside its structure. Cherry and chocolate appear in both the top and heart, which means the fruit never fully leaves, it just changes costume. The presence of cake in the top and cookie in the heart creates a doubled dessert effect, two bakery materials stacked across the structure rather than swapped out for contrast. Liquor and café espresso in the heart push the composition past dessert into something closer to after-dinner, the moment when coffee gets poured and someone reaches for the harder bottle.
The evolution
The first spray announces its intentions fast: cherry, marshmallow, chocolate, coffee, and cake hit almost simultaneously, like a tray set down on a table. There's no slow build.
