The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
24/7 For Her launched in 2014 as part of Bench's first fragrance duo, paired with 24/7 For Him. The concept was direct: scent for people who don't sit still. The brand understood its audience, young, mobile, plugged into city rhythm. The 24/7 pair was designed as a companion for the kind of wearer who is constantly on the move, the person running around 24/7 through a hectic everyday life, grabbing moments between obligations and never quite standing still. 24/7 For Her took that brief and made it golden-hued and bright: a fruity-floral with enough lift to survive heat and enough softness to wear past sunset. The opening sparkles with citrus, a quick burst of brightness that feels like light catching the edge of a glass, before the heart unfolds into a soft floral cloud.
What makes 24/7 For Her interesting is how the brief shaped the note structure. Kumquat and grapefruit are not default top notes in Western perfumery, they're sharper, more citrus-bitter than sweet, and they read as tropical without falling into mango or coconut territory. Pairing that citrus bite with mimosa, the fluffy, honeyed yellow flower, is deliberate: it makes the floral heart feel powdered and sun-warmed rather than traditionally romantic. Most fruity florals chase sweetness. This one angles for brightness with a powdery undertow. The base keeps things grounded with sandalwood and amber, both chosen for staying power in Manila's humidity.
The evolution
On skin, 24/7 For Her opens the way the yellow bottle suggests: bright, almost neon. Grapefruit cuts first, sharp and slightly bitter, while kumquat adds a candied edge that reads more like zest than sugar. Pear sits underneath, rounding things out before the fruit notes can feel aggressive. The citrus phase lasts around 15 to 20 minutes. The transition into the heart is soft. Mimosa arrives as that golden, pollen-sweet haze, almost like the air over a flower stall in the late morning. Rose leans clean and rosewater-light rather than jammy or dark. The middle phase carries from about 20 minutes to two hours, depending on skin, and it's the most wearable register of the fragrance: pretty without being precious. The drydown is where the warmth lives. Sandalwood enters quietly, and amber gives the base a low, golden glow that reads warmer than smoky. By hour three, the fruit has gone, the florals have blurred, and what's left is amber-toned sandalwood clinging close to the skin.
Cultural impact
24/7 For Her hit shelves in 2014 as part of Bench's first fragrance duo, released in tandem with 24/7 For Him. Within that lineup, it became the bright, golden-hued counterpart to its masculine sibling, lighter and more floral where its partner leaned woodier. The name itself, 24/7, captures the brief in four characters: fragrance for people who are always on. Its composition reflects that energy. The top notes lift with citrus and fruit, a quick flash of brightness that feels built for movement, for stepping out into warm air and staying out late.
