The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Sandra Casagrande arrived in France to study perfumery. Stepping off the train in Nice, she caught something on the sea breeze, an intoxicating smell she couldn't shake. Years later, she finally made it to Grasse. Amyi 2.15 is the fragrance she built from that journey: the Riviera's warm air, the memory of arrival, the yellow florals she first dreamed about in that coastal light.
Bergamot and clove leaf open the composition with a bright-spice tension that's resolved by raspberry's sweetness, a luminous note that bridges citrus and warmth. The heart builds through yellow florals: mimosa brings its characteristic honeyed sweetness and powdery texture, magnolia adds creamy petals with a subtle lemon nuance, and lily of the valley contributes fresh, green brightness that keeps the heart from becoming heavy. Together, they create a powdery softness that's the signature of this fragrance.
The evolution
Bergamot hits first, crisp and clean. Clove leaf adds warmth beneath the surface. Raspberry arrives sweet and bright, like sunlight cutting through spice. Twenty minutes in, the florals emerge. Mimosa takes the lead, honeyed, slightly powdery. Magnolia and lily of the valley soften everything, creating a creamy floral warmth. The drydown belongs to vanilla and patchouli, wrapping the florals in warmth. Musk and vetiver ground it. The drydown stays close, intimate, warm but never heavy, powdery but never dusty.
Cultural impact
Amyi 2.15 occupies a quiet corner of the 2021 Oriental Floral space, powdery, warm, intimate. Built for those who want florals that don't announce themselves. The kind of fragrance that rewards patience, unfolding slowly over hours rather than making a statement on its first spray.
